Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38

TITHING CHALLENGE
For most of us, this is an area that challenges us in our pursuit to TRUST God.  It doesn't matter how much or how little we make - God has PROMISED to supply all our need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus when we are FAITHFUL in our giving.

What is tithe?
A tithe means a (tenth) 10% (for example, if I earn $100 per week, a tithe of $100 is $10.  If I earned $500 per week, a tithe of $500 is $50.  The tithe is given in addition to any offering that we give. Malachi 3:10

Who should tithe?
All of us who have placed our faith and trust in God. The challenge is developed to challenge and to encourage members who have never tithed or who have not consistently given their tithes and offering in a way that honors God. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Why do we tithe?
Tithes and offering are principles that are taught throughout the Word of God. When we give, we are expressing worship to God in a tangible way by putting GOD FIRST in our lives.  The tithe and offerings are given back to God through the church in order to financially support and maintain the vision and movement of the church. 1 Corinthians 16:2

Tithing is about training out hearts to the Word of God. We ask that you join your TBC church family in taking this step of FAITH.

This challenge is designed to create healthy habits that help us to trust God in our attitudes and actions regarding a lifestyle of trust and dependence for His power and pleasure to meet our daily needs.

Foundational Scriptures for our challenge:
Proverbs 3:1-10
Matthew 6:24-34
