 Praise the Lord, and welcome to the virtual experience of the Timothy Baptist Church. The Timothy Baptist Church is located in the Poppleton Community of West Baltimore City. It is here where we purpose to fulfill the mandate and mission given to us by our Lord and Master, Jesus. We thank God that has guided you to our virtual platform. We encourage you to peruse the pages of our website. This year, the Timothy Baptist church is celebrating our 70th Church Anniversary. Our Church Theme for 2025 is, “Still Making Disciples!" Our foundational scripture is Matthew 28:19 NLT (New Living Translation) “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Our theme for 2025 reminds us to not only understand our right to celebrate the faithfulness of God, but also, our reason to remain faithful to our commitment. We realize the magnitude to exercise our faith in a practical way. To that end, we fully embrace our mandate. We purpose to remain poised and positioned as a church to impact the community that we are called to serve for the cause of Christ. We thank God for every person and partner that He has called to help us to fulfill our mission. We hope that you are blessed and encouraged during your virtual visit today.
