Praise the Lord, and welcome to the virtual experience of the Timothy Baptist Church. The Timothy Baptist Church is located in the Poppleton Community of West Baltimore City. It is here where we purpose to fulfill the mandate and mission given to us by our Lord and Master, Jesus. As we set our sights to carry out God’s will for our lives in 2024, we realize that we cannot rest upon previous accomplishments, but, we must maintain our vigilance in advancing the kingdom of God. Our Church Theme for 2024 is, “Ready, Set, Go!” Our foundational scripture is Luke 10:2-3 NLT (New Living Translation), “These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves.“ This year we will run counter to the culture of the world, as we communicate God’s message of love and hope. We also purpose to continue to make disciples as well as continue our work to develop strong partnerships to help in the transformation of our communities. To that end, fully commit ourselves to the work of ministry in 2024, and we thank God for the GRACE that He has given us to run the race. We also thank God for His Grace that has guided you to our virtual platform. We hope that you are blessed and encouraged during your virtual visit today.
